Plan your day
Today tells you what matters, the stop list puts your visits in driving order, and the call list covers the rest. Here is how each one works.
Most days start on Today, move to the stop list for visits, and use the call list between stops. This guide covers all three, plus Near me now, Plan my week and printing.
Start with Today and the next best action
The Next best action card at the top of Today names the one account or lead most worth your time right now, and says why. LASSO picks it in this order:
- A follow-up that is overdue.
- A come-back pin due within the hour, close to you.
- A meeting today.
- A follow-up due today.
- A starred top customer who has gone quiet.
- A strong found lead nobody has called, visited or met yet.
When LASSO already knows where you are, closer places move up. Anyone you already called, visited or met today is skipped. The card has Navigate, Call, Add stop, a mic for a voice note, and Open. Tap Something else to set it aside for the rest of the day on that phone; Show them again brings the skipped ones back.
Build your stop list
Open the stop list from Today (Stop list) or from More. A row of days runs across the top; tap a day to plan it.
- Tap Add stops. LASSO suggests who is worth a stop: today's meetings, follow-ups due in the next 2 days, quiet top customers, maintenance pitches and open leads.
- Tap Sort by distance from me to put the closest first, or use Only a type of place to narrow the list.
- To add any other account, type its name in Search any account to add.
- Tick the stops you want and tap Add (the button shows how many). LASSO adds them and puts the list in order.
You can also add a stop from other places: Add to today's stops on an account page, the route button on an open lead, Add stop on the Next best action card, in Near me now, and in map pop-ups.

Put the stops in order with Optimize
- Tap Optimize. LASSO orders the stops you have left, starting from where you stand. If it can't get your location, it starts from your last finished stop, your start point, or your first stop.
- Read the message at the bottom. If a stop would be closed when you get there, LASSO names it.
Stops that came from a Google listing show their hours, such as "Open until 5 PM," "Opens at 9 AM" or "Closed today." Optimize keeps those stops inside their hours and puts a stop that closes within two hours first.
To change the order yourself, use the up and down arrows on a stop. Move sends a stop to another day, and the x removes it. Clear empties the day.
Start the route in your maps app
- Check Directions near the top of the stop list. Tap Change to pick Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze. You can also set this in Settings, under Stop list.
- Tap Start route.
- In Google Maps, LASSO opens up to 10 stops as one trip. Come back for the rest after that.
- Apple Maps and Waze take one stop at a time, so Start route opens your next stop. Tap Go on each stop after that.
The Next stop button and the Go button on each row always open that one stop in your maps app.
Log what happened at the door
Each stop has four one-tap buttons: Talked, Not in, Left card and Not interested.
- Tap the one that fits as you walk back to the truck.
- LASSO logs the visit, marks the stop done and shows the outcome on the row.
- Tapped the wrong one? Tap Undo in the message at the bottom.
You can also tap Done without an outcome. On an account, LASSO then offers Voice note, Log visit or Skip for now. If stops are left at the end of the day, Move the rest to the next working day with one button.
Working the whole block? Knock this street on a stop opens the map at street level so you can pin every door nearby. See Canvassing pins.
Find who is close with Near me now
- Tap Near me now on Today, or on the Map.
- Allow location if your phone asks.
- LASSO lists up to 12 of your open leads and your accounts with no contact in a while, closest first, with rough road miles.
- Tap Add stop to put one on today's list, or Open to see it.
"No contact in a while" uses your setting for Flag top customers after (days quiet) in Settings. Accounts need an address to show up here.
Work the call list
Open Call list from Today. LASSO builds it fresh each time, in this order:
- Follow-ups due or overdue, including come-back pins.
- Tomorrow's meetings to confirm.
- New leads with a phone number that nobody has called.
- Top customers who have gone quiet.
- Deals with no update in 3 weeks.
Each row says why it is there. Tap Call to dial; when you come back to LASSO, it asks how the call went. Or tap Log it, pick Talked to them, Left a voicemail or No answer, add notes, choose whether to mark the follow-up done, and pick when to follow up again. Anyone you reach today moves to Done today at the bottom.
Plan the whole week
- On the stop list, tap Plan my week.
- Pick Which accounts: all of yours, ones with no recent contact, customers, prospects, or one type of place.
- Under Skip anyone I've seen in the last, choose 3, 7 or 14 days, or don't skip.
- Set Stops a day and tick the Days to plan.
- Under Start each day from, pick Home, Where I am now or The first stop. For Home, type your home address once and LASSO keeps it.
- Tap See the plan. LASSO splits your accounts by area so each day stays in one part of your territory, then puts each day in driving order.
- Look over Your plan: a map and a list per day. If some accounts did not fit, LASSO offers to add more days or more stops a day.
- Tap Save plan, or Change to go back.
Print your day or your week
- Call list: tap Print.
- Stop list: tap Print for the day shown, or Print week for every upcoming day with stops.
- Plan my week: tap Print the plan on the preview.
Each sheet carries your company's name or logo, the stops or calls with what LASSO knows about each one, and room to write.
