A native LASSO app for Zapier

Zapier works today through LASSO's webhooks and API.

Webhooks: LASSO tells your other tools what happened.

A manager adds an https address in Settings and picks the events, or all of them. Each event is posted as flat JSON with the record, your company, the rep, the time and a link back into your LASSO.

  • Signed: each post carries a signature (HMAC SHA-256 of the timestamp and body) in the x-lasso-signature header, with x-lasso-event, x-lasso-delivery and x-lasso-timestamp
  • Retried on a schedule of about 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours and 12 hours (LASSO checks for retries every 15 minutes); each try waits 8 seconds for an answer
  • Five failures in a row mark the hook Failing and alert your managers
  • Send a test, and see the last 50 deliveries
  • Private and local addresses are refused; delivery logs are deleted after 30 days

In, and by key

Incoming leads and personal API keys.

Incoming leads by key

A manager makes an incoming-lead key in Settings. Point a web form, a call tracking tool or a Zapier step at its address, and each post becomes a lead in LASSO.

  • Takes JSON, a regular form post or multipart
  • Saved with a source like "Web" or "Call" plus the form's name
  • Goes to the key's rep, or round robin to the rep with the fewest open leads
  • A repeat from the same person within a day returns the existing lead
  • Optional redirect to your own thank-you page
  • 60 posts a minute per key; the key is shown once and only a hash is stored

Personal API keys

Any rep can make an API key in Settings and use it as a Bearer token against their company's LASSO address.

  • Full access or read only
  • 600 calls a minute per key
  • Shown once; only a hash is stored
  • Revoke any time, and see when each key was last used
  • A public API reference is not published yet

Salesforce, as an add-on.

If your company runs on Salesforce, LASSO can keep it current from the field. We set it up and test it with your Salesforce admin during onboarding, against your own fields, picklists and required fields. It is set up for your org, not switched on with one click.

  • Accounts, contacts and opportunities sync both ways
  • Leads go to Salesforce
  • Calls, visits, meetings, notes and voice notes go as completed tasks; follow-ups as open tasks
  • Each rep signs in to Salesforce once
  • Picklist values and required fields are checked before a record is sent, and Today lists records Salesforce would reject
  • Salesforce stays the record of truth: deleting in LASSO never deletes in Salesforce

Salesforce sync is $59 a month per company. See pricing.

How the add-on is set up

Rolling out

Outlook and Google: built, waiting on approval.

Both are built. Each needs an approval from Microsoft or Google before reps can connect. A rep connects one or the other, not both.

Everyday connections

Maps, spreadsheets and Zapier.

Maps handoff

LASSO puts the stops in order by distance and business hours, then hands the drive to Google Maps (up to 9 stops in between, long days split into legs), Apple Maps or Waze. Each rep picks a default in Settings.

Excel and CSV, in and out

Import .xlsx, .xls or .csv: rows for one company become one account with its contacts, blanks are filled, nothing is overwritten. Export leads as CSV and a tracker as .xlsx. A one-click company-wide export is not built yet.

Zapier, today

Use Webhooks by Zapier to catch LASSO's webhooks, and send leads in through an incoming-lead key or the API. A native LASSO app for Zapier is Coming.

Questions

About integrations.

Can I send LASSO events to Slack?

Not directly. Webhooks send LASSO's own JSON, so you need a step in between, such as Zapier, to turn an event into a Slack message.

Is Salesforce sync included?

It is an optional add-on at $59 a month per company. We set it up and test it with your Salesforce admin during onboarding.

When will Outlook and Google work?

Both are built and rolling out. Each is waiting on an approval from Microsoft or Google. We will tell you where it stands for your company during your demo.

Do you sync with HubSpot or Pipedrive?

No. HubSpot and Pipedrive sync are on the roadmap, not built. Webhooks and the API can move data in the meantime if you build the other side.

Can my web form send leads straight to a rep?

Yes. Point the form at an incoming-lead key. The lead goes to the key's rep, or round robin to the rep with the fewest open leads, and the rep gets it in LASSO.

Is there API documentation?

A public API reference is not published yet. Ask during your demo what the API covers for your use.
