LASSO

Paving and Striping

Sell parking lot paving, sealcoating and striping to the people who manage the lots.

LASSO plans your reps' days of property visits and keeps every bid moving with door outcomes, voice notes and follow-ups, and finds apartment communities, office parks and retail centers near them. A paving scoring profile is in development.

What gets in the way

What slows paving and striping sales down, and what LASSO does about it.

01

Every lot looks like a lead

A rep can see cracked asphalt from the street but not who manages the property or who signs. Tracking down the right person takes longer than the visit.

With LASSODrop a canvassing pin on the lot, log who manages it once you find out, and set the come-back.

02

Budgets are set once a year

Property managers plan paving and sealcoating in an annual budget, and the work happens in a short season. A rep who misses the budget window waits a year.

With LASSOSet a follow-up for budget season on every property, and it comes up on Today when it is time.

03

Bids sit without a second call

A rep measures a lot, sends a number and moves on to the next one. Without follow-ups, bids sit until a competitor calls first.

With LASSOGive every bid its own follow-up, so the second call happens while the number is still fresh.

The buildings you call on

Where paving and striping reps find their work.

Apartments and HOAs

Who decides: Property manager, regional manager or HOA board

Large lots and private drives need sealcoating, patching and striping on a schedule.

Retail centers

Who decides: Center property manager, owner or regional facilities manager

Shoppers judge a center by its parking lot, and faded lines and potholes draw complaints.

Offices

Who decides: Property manager

Business parks keep lots and drives in shape to hold tenants and keep accessible spaces clearly marked.

Churches

Who decides: Church administrator or facilities committee

Big parking lots get heavy weekend use and need regular sealing and striping.

Warehouses and plants

Who decides: Plant manager or facilities manager

Truck courts and loading areas take a beating from heavy trucks every day.

Schools

Who decides: Facilities director

Bus loops and parking lots get paved and striped in the summer while students are out.

What LASSO reads for you

Ranked buildings today. Your own trade profile next.

Until the paving profile is ready, the finder ranks buildings with the building profile. These are the reasons it can give today, each labeled measured or a sign.

  • measuredBuilding size. Units, rooms or square feet from the listing, the website or a public list, a rough stand in for the size of the lot, since lot size is not read yet.
  • measuredOne operator, several buildings. The same management company behind several properties in your search, so one bid can cover several lots.
  • measuredRenovation or expansion. New construction, an expansion or a remodel on the listing, the website or a recent review, which often means new paving or restriping.
  • measuredYear built. From county property records where they are loaded for your area, and properties 15 to 35 years old score higher.
  • a signIndependent or regional operator. No national brand was found, so the decision is more likely made at the building.
  • marked downNational brands. Big box, grocery and restaurant chains are marked down because their lots are often handled under a corporate contract.

A day in the field

A day in the field, with LASSO in the truck.

A sample day for paving and striping reps. Every step is in the app today.

  1. Plan the week, then the day

On Monday the rep used Plan my week to spread the territory's accounts across the days, one part of the map each day. This morning's stop list is ready, and Optimize orders it by distance and business hours.

  2. Measure, then talk it through

After walking a retail center's lot with the property manager, the rep records a voice note about sealcoating and restriping. LASSO drafts the deal with the amount the rep said and a follow-up for Friday, and waits for the rep to check them.

  3. Pins on every lot

Driving a business park, the rep drops a pin at each building and marks Talked, Not in or Left card. Two are marked Come back, and each becomes a follow-up with a reminder.

Why teams pick LASSO

Most field sales apps hand your rep a map. LASSO hands them a reason to stop.

Pins and routes are the easy part. The work is knowing which buildings to visit, what to say there, and what happens after the door.

The usual wayWith LASSO
Where leads come from

You import a list or drop pins by hand.

LASSO finds the buildings near your reps and scores every one, with the reasons.

Why this building

An address and a pin color.

Review complaints quoted with the date, plus size, operator and job postings, each marked measured or a sign.

At the door

Notes typed later, if anyone remembers.

One tap for the outcome. One voice note drafts the note, the deal, the follow-up and the next stop.

The route

Stops in the order someone added them.

Ordered by distance from the rep, kept inside business hours, closing-soon stops first.

For the manager

Calls around to find out who went where.

Team Live and day trails for reps who share, plus a weekly scoreboard.

Built for

Every industry at once.

Commercial trades that sell to buildings, built alongside a mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractor.

Questions

Questions paving and striping teams ask.

Something else? Ask us and a person replies.

Does LASSO work for paving and striping companies today?

The field app does: stop lists, door outcomes, voice notes, business cards, QR leave-behinds, canvassing pins, territories and the call list all work fully for your trade today. The finder already pulls and ranks apartment communities, HOAs, office parks and retail centers with the building profile's size, operator, renovation and brand signals, and a profile that reads reviews for potholes, cracked lots and faded lines is in development.

How does LASSO find paving and striping leads?

A rep picks an area, a radius and building types such as apartments, retail centers or office parks. LASSO pulls the Google listings, skips places your company already has, reads each building's website for size and renovation words, and ranks the rest with the building profile, with a reason for every score. Free public lists are loaded for your states when we set up your company.

Does LASSO replace our CRM, or work with Salesforce?

LASSO keeps accounts, contacts, deals, follow-ups and activity on its own, so a team without a CRM can run on it. If you use Salesforce, sync is an optional add-on, set up and tested with your Salesforce admin during onboarding: accounts, contacts and opportunities sync both ways, and leads and activity go to Salesforce.

Does LASSO work on any phone?

Yes. LASSO runs in the browser on any phone or computer and installs to the home screen like an app. Android and iPhone apps are in testing.

How is LASSO priced?

Per selling rep, per month: seats start at $89, and Hunter seats, which add the lead finder, start at $159. Managers who don't sell are free, one for every five reps, and the pricing page lists the company base, optional add-ons and lead lookups.

Can managers see where reps are?

Only for reps who turn location sharing on. It's off by default, each rep picks their hours, a banner shows while it's on, and nothing is recorded when it's off. Location points are kept 90 days, then deleted.
