Install LASSO on your phone
Add LASSO to your home screen so it opens like an app, then turn on alerts for bookings, new requests and your morning brief.
LASSO runs in your phone's browser, so there is no app store download. Adding it to your home screen gives you an icon that opens LASSO full screen, like any other app. Do this on every phone you use.
On iPhone, in Safari
- Open Safari and go to your company's LASSO address. Sign in.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.
- Close Safari and open LASSO from the new icon on your home screen.
On Android, in Chrome
- Open Chrome and go to your company's LASSO address. Sign in.
- Tap the three-dot menu at the top right.
- Tap Add to Home screen or Install app (the wording depends on your version of Chrome), then confirm.
- Open LASSO from the new icon.
Turn on alerts
Alerts are the pings LASSO sends to your phone: a new QR request, a booking, your morning brief, follow-ups due and more. They are set per device, so turn them on for each phone and computer you use.
- On Today, tap Turn on in the Turn on alerts box. Or go to More, then Settings, then Alerts on this device, and tap Turn on alerts.
- When your phone asks, allow notifications.
- Pick the alerts you want. Each one has its own switch: New QR requests, New bookings, the morning brief, Follow-ups due, and Weekly search ready when Find leads is on for your company.
- Tap Send a test to check that an alert arrives.
Come-back reminders from canvassing pins arrive under Follow-ups due. To stop alerts on one device, tap Turn off here.
Allow location, camera and microphone
LASSO asks for these only when you use something that needs them.
- Location. The stop list, Near me now, the map and the Here button in Find leads use where you are. On iPhone, if location is off for LASSO, go to Settings, Privacy & Security, Location Services, then Safari Websites (or LASSO), and choose While Using. Then tap Try again in LASSO.
- Camera. Business card scans and pin photos.
- Microphone. Voice notes and Recap my day. You can also pick a recording you already made.
Updates and weak signal
When a new version of LASSO is out, a bar says "A new version of LASSO is ready. Tap to update." Tap it and LASSO reloads.
With no signal, screens you already opened stay readable, and a line says "Offline, showing what you had at" a time. Changes you make offline are saved on the phone and sent when the signal comes back. Until then, the top bar shows how many changes are waiting to send; tap it to send them now.
Photos, voice notes, Find leads, maps and anything that uses AI need a connection. Screens you never opened have nothing saved to show.
About the LASSO phone apps
LASSO apps for Android and iPhone are In testing. They are not in the App Store or Google Play yet, so the home screen version above is the one to use today.
One thing changes when the apps arrive: location sharing can keep going with the screen off. In the browser, it records only while LASSO is open. See Location sharing.
