QR leave-behinds
Leave a QR code at the front desk. When someone scans it, they tell you what they need and can book a time from your open slots.
A QR leave-behind is a small card with a code on it. The code opens a short form with your company's name on it. Requests come back to you as leads or as notes on the account, with an alert on your phone.
Set your hours first
Customers book from your open times, so set them before you hand out codes.
- Go to More, then Settings, and find Your availability for bookings.
- Tap the Days you take meetings, and set Start and End.
- Set Visit length (minutes), Travel between stops (minutes) and Earliest booking (hours ahead).
- Tap Save. Your QR form uses these hours right away.
Make a QR code
There are two kinds: one tied to an account you already have, and one for a new business or a whole stack of cards.
- For an account, open the account and tap QR code. The company name fills in on the form for them.
- For anything else, go to More, then QR codes, and tap New QR code. You can also tap Add (the plus sign on a phone), then New QR leave-behind.
- In Leave it at, pick an account, or A new business or a stack (not tied to one account).
- Optionally, add a Label so you know where it went, such as "front desk" or "trade show."
- Tap Make QR code.
Print or download
- On the QR codes page, tap Print sheet. It prints a page of 10 leave-behind cards from your newest codes (or 10 copies of one, if you have only one), each with your company's name or logo and a line inviting them to scan and book a time with you.
- Tap Download on a code to save it as an image for your own cards or flyers.
- Preview form shows exactly what the customer sees. Copy link copies the form's web address, if you want to text or email it.
What the customer sees
- They scan the code with their phone camera. A page with your company's name opens: How can we help?
- They pick what kind of work it is (in your company's words, plus Not sure yet), say what they need, where it is and how soon, and give their company, name, and a phone or email.
- They tap Next: pick a time, or Just send it, no meeting.
- On Pick a time to meet, they choose a day and a time from your open slots and tap Book this time. Or they tap Skip, just have them call me.
- They see Got it, thank you.
Open slots come from your availability, minus meetings already booked, for about the next three weeks. Two people can't book the same time.
Where requests show up
- An alert on your phone: "New request" or "New booking" with the company name, if those alerts are on. See Install LASSO on your phone.
- A new lead with the source "QR Code," on the Leads page and under New leads on Today. If the code belongs to an account, or the company name matches one of your accounts, the request is logged on that account instead.
- The meeting, if they booked one, under Meetings on Today.
- The QR codes page, which counts scans and forms for each code. A code that was scanned with no form sent is marked "Scanned, follow up."
Once calendar connections reach your company, booked meetings also land on your Outlook or Google calendar, and busy times there are left out of your open slots. Those connections are Rolling out.
